2° Edition of the Italian Arab Business Forum
The second edition of the Italian Arab business forum will be held in Rome on October 17, 2018 at the Auditorium della Tenica di Confindustria. The initiative, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, is organised by the Joint Italian Arab Chamber of Commerce – JIACC, a young and dynamic organisation that aims to promote an inclusive, sustainable and fair business climate between Italy and the Arab world.
In light of the success of the first edition, the Italian Arab Business Forum confirms its ambition to be an open forum for comparison and discussion on the most significant business opportunities in the markets of the MENA area. It is an opportunity to promote the Italian system to Arab investors – who are looking with growing interest at the third economy of the Eurozone – as well as to strengthen historical, institutional, economic and cultural relations with respect for the differences.
The initiative will take place in the presence of senior representatives of Italian and Arab institutions – including the Minister for the Economy of the United Arab Emirates, Sulan Al Mansoori. It will address several issues related to innovation and digitalisation; connectivity and infrastructure; industry and agri-food security; and sustainable agriculture.
The participation of the United Arab Emirates as Guest Country offers a further opportunity to study in-depth the current scenario and prospects of bilateral cooperation, which has been considerably strengthened in recent years, with the exchange volume having reached 6 billion euros in 2017.
